I know we should embrace this idea every day, giving thanks for the bountiful blessings around us, but the minutia of daily life tends to obstruct the view. So I would like to wish all my family and friends, near and far, a very Happy Thanksgiving. I love you all very much.
And I did reach my goal of reaching 100 sales in my merrysunshine shop and 500 sales in theginghamgirl shop, so I am thankful for the support of all my customers.
Amazing to me, I was tagged by a new blog friend, Jill. I guess the blog world is running out of people to tag, since I am like the last kid you pick for kickball. But in the spirit of thanksgiving, I am thankful for being picked, here are my six quirky and boring facts:
1. I really LOVE the color red, but I rarely wear it. I'm usually wearing something in black (I guess it is a NJ/NYC thing).
2. I hate uneven amounts of eggs in the refrigerator. I will use more than I need for a recipe just to keep the count an even number.
3. I won't exercise for 15 minutes a day, but I would spend 8 hours combing through junk at the local flea market. And I could probably do that every day.
4. I'm probably the only person you know who doesn't drink coffee or know where a Starbucks is.
5. I'm the only person in my family who has never smoked. They have all quit now, but I get the ribbon for never starting.
6. Keys were my first collection. I don't remember a time when I didn't collect them. I save ones I find on the street, at flea markets, from every car and front door I've owned. I have a hard time using them in crafts or selling them because I have this weird, deep down feeling that I might NEED them one day.
Okay, maybe that last one was TMI... Every one else has already been tagged, but if your feel like responding to this blog, I will be happy to tag you! Come, join the party!!!
To all of you that are going out shopping tomorrow, good luck, have fun, stay safe!!!
